Photo Assignments

In this shot i had a fellow photographer snap this while i was deep at work at a local paintball event. The lines in this picture are very rigid, strong and very sharp at points giving this shot a feeling of action. The colors in this shot are very bland and unattractive and if i had the oppurtunity i would have repostitioned myself in a different spot so the colors would be a little more attractive and a little less boring. The subject (me) is facing away from the camera giving it a sense of almost shyness, the photographer here obviously finds his skills are much better behind the camera rather than in front of it. As Far as composition goes i would have to say horrible, there is a ton of dead space around me and it doesnt focus on what really is the point of this picture is. The dead space around me adds to the color blandness and contributes the most to the reason i really dont like this shot. All in all i cant be too harsh on the shot as i was not in control and the other photographer has had little to no experience in the area of aristic photography so i can only be thakful for the job he has done for me.
